ShroudX documentation
Everything about ShroudX, the private swap app on Solana: how it is meant to work, what it protects, and what is still to be announced.
Introduction
Solana is a public ledger. Every swap is recorded and tied to the wallet that made it, so anyone can look up an address and read its trading history. That affects traders, funds, and anyone who prefers to keep their finances to themselves.
ShroudX is built to reduce what your swaps reveal. The goal is simple: swap tokens without leaving a public trail back to your wallet.
Quick start
- Open the app at
shroudx.xyz/app. - Connect a Solana wallet. The preview supports Phantom and Solflare.
- Choose your tokens and an amount.
- Enter a fresh receiving address that has never been linked to your main wallet.
- Review and confirm. In the preview this is a simulation only.
How private swaps work
For users, a swap on ShroudX is meant to feel like a normal swap. The difference is in what an outside observer can learn afterward: the wallet you swap from and the wallet you receive in should not be publicly linked.
Privacy model
This table sets out what is visible on Solana today and what ShroudX aims to change. These are design goals, not guarantees.
| Information | Public on Solana today | ShroudX goal |
|---|---|---|
| Link between sending and receiving wallet | Visible | Not publicly linkable |
| Your full swap history under one wallet | Visible | Harder to assemble when you use fresh receiving wallets |
| Token pairs and amounts | Visible | To be confirmed |
| Balances of your wallets | Visible | Not changed by ShroudX |
ShroudX cannot protect you if you reveal your identity elsewhere, for example by posting an address, or by sending funds from a private wallet back to your main one.
Wallets and tokens
Wallets. The preview works with Phantom and Solflare. Other Solana wallets may be added.
Tokens. The preview shows SOL, USDC, USDT, and JUP as sample pairs with placeholder prices. The final list of supported tokens is To be announced, and governance may later decide additions.
Fees
The preview shows a placeholder protocol fee of 0.3%. The final fee is To be announced. Standard Solana network fees apply to any transaction on the chain. $SHROUD is planned to unlock reduced fees.
$SHROUD overview
$SHROUD is the token behind ShroudX. Planned utility:
- Lower fees: reduced fees on private swaps.
- Governance: voting on supported tokens, fee settings, and upgrades.
- Early access: first access to new features and private pools.

Security
What we plan to do
- Test on Solana devnet before any real funds are involved.
- Get an independent security review before mainnet launch.
- Publish official program addresses on this site.
- Disclose upgrade authority and any admin controls.
Staying safe
- ShroudX will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
- Only use
shroudx.xyz. Check the address bar each time. - Read every wallet pop-up before you approve it.
Reporting a vulnerability
Until a dedicated security contact is published, message @Shroudxyz on X. Please do not share details publicly first.
Governance
$SHROUD holders are planned to vote on supported tokens, fee settings, and protocol upgrades. The voting process, thresholds, and timing are To be announced.
Risks
- Smart contract risk. Software can have bugs, even when reviewed.
- Privacy is not absolute. Mistakes in how you use the app can still link your wallets.
- Market risk. Token prices move fast and you can lose money.
- Regulatory risk. Rules differ by place, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or tax advice.

Best practices
- Always receive into a fresh wallet.
- Never send funds from the receiving wallet back to your main wallet.
- Do not post your wallet addresses publicly.
- Be careful with very unusual amounts, since they can be easier to match.
- Avoid reusing the same receiving address.
FAQ
Is ShroudX live?
Not yet. The app is a preview and does not send real transactions.
Which blockchain does it use?
Solana.
Does ShroudX make me anonymous?
No. It aims to remove the public link between the wallet you swap from and the wallet you receive in. It cannot protect you if you reveal your identity in other ways.
Does ShroudX hold my funds?
To be announced. This will be explained in the technical design before launch.
Is there a token?
Yes, $SHROUD. The contract address is coming soon and will only be published on official channels.
